South Africa
Private Reserves & Cape Country

South Africa

South Africa is a different register of trip from our East Africa work — private reserves with malaria-free options, a genuinely world-class food and wine scene in the Cape, and infrastructure that makes it an easier first-timer's safari than the more remote parks we run further north.

We arrange South Africa itineraries privately, tailored around whichever combination of bush and Cape time you want — a private-reserve safari paired with a few days in the Winelands is the combination our guests ask for most.

This isn't a route we run our own vehicle convoy on the way we do in Kenya and Tanzania — we work through trusted reserve partners and build the itinerary around their strengths, with Moseville coordinating the whole trip end to end.

Where We Go

See South Africa, Region By Region

Private Game Reserves

Malaria-free reserves offering close, guided game drives with an intimacy that larger public parks can't always match.

Cape Winelands

Stellenbosch and Franschhoek's vineyards, valleys and restaurants — the natural pairing for a bush-and-Cape itinerary.

Cape Town

Table Mountain, the Atlantic coastline, and a food scene that regularly surprises guests who came only for the safari.
